Work in Lima’s prisons to save oceans
ESTEFANIA GUERRA – LIMA PERU
Mama Qucha wants to save oceans from single-use plastics and to employ women in Lima’s prisons. Estefania and Gabriela two young entrepreneurs from Lima created a serie of reusable shopping bags and a line of net bags created with old fishing nets. The fishermen’s waste is recovered and transformed to avoid the phenomenon of ghost fishing. All these products are made thanks to the work and effort of women in Lima prisons.
